Delmarva Chicken Festival Opens Vendor Registration

SALISBURY — The 2012 Delmarva Chicken Festival, hosted this year by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, is seeking commercial and arts and crafts vendors, as well a local non-profit vendors to participate in the 63rd Annual Festival. The event will be held on June 15 and June 16 at the Centre at Salisbury in Salisbury. This is a highly anticipated event on the Delmarva Peninsula and more than 20,000 visitors from across the region and beyond are expected to attend.

Three areas of opportunity are open to exhibitors depending on their requirements. The festival’s Home and Trade Show is open to businesses and other commercial groups interested in promoting their products or services to the general public. Crafters who create their own artistic wares are invited to share their products at the festival’s Arts and Crafts Show. A special Community Resources Show is available to non-profit groups such as community organizations, trade associations, and government agencies.

Deadline for vendor application is May 18 pending space availability at that time.
