Sheriff's Office posts latest adult, juvenile arrests

WESTOVER - The Sheriff's Office reports the following incidents and arrests.

• Jamar Marquel Tenner of Crisfield was arrested May 16 on warrants for failing to appear in court, armed robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, robbery, handgun used during a felony, and a patrol retake. Tenner was later held without bond. The arrest was the result of deputies receiving a tip that Tenner was hiding out in the area of the Wink Lane Apartments. Deputies later found Tenner hiding behind a large television in the living room of a friend's apartment.

• Tammy Lynn Cawood of Princess Anne was arrested May 16 on warrants regarding first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and violating a peace order. Cawood was held on $50,000 bond.

• Luvernea Khadjia Michelle Hodge of Princess Anne was arrested May 16 for harboring a fugitive, and obstructing police. Hodge was later held on $100,000 bond.

• Two juveniles were arrested for assaulting another juvenile while mowing his grass. Deputies responded to the area of Harvey Russell Road regarding an assault. Deputies later learned that two male juveniles had punched the victim at his residence while he was trying to mow the grass. Deputies later arrested two Princess Anne juveniles and charged them with second degree assault. Both juveniles were later released to their parents pending juvenile court actions.

• Edwin Lamont Fletcher of Crisfield was arrested May 15 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. He was held on $1,000 bond.

• Tevin DeShawn Mumford of Salisbury was arrested May 13 regarding underage possession of alcohol. Mumford was released on signature pending court actions. The arrest was the result of deputies being called to the Civic Center in Princess Anne regarding a large crowd. Deputies saw Mumford stumbling in the parking area, and detected alcohol.

• Nichole L. Bennett of Philadelphia was arrested May 12 for driving without a license, and a headlight violation. Bennett was later released on signature pending court actions.

• Eric Anthony Tobin of Philadelphia was arrested May 12 for violating an out of state protective order. Tobin was later released on personal recognizance.

• Paula Anselmo Bisset of Crisfield was arrested May 12 for driving on a suspended license, and driving with expired tags. Bisset was later released on signature pending court actions.
• Welson William Ward of Princess Anne was arrested May 12 on warrants for failing to appear in court, and resisting arrest. Ward was held on $210,000 bond.

• Two female juveniles were arrested at Washington High School for fighting. Deputies were May 11 to the school regarding two females involved in a fight. The two students were arrested and charged with second degree assault, and disturbing school functions. The juveniles were later released to their parents pending juvenile court actions.

• Calvin Mitchell Sterling of Crisfield was arrested May 10 on for second and fourth degree burglary, theft less than $1,000, forgery, uttering false documents, and malicious destruction of property. Sterling was held on $40,000 bond.
